Today, June 1, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017 officially opens under the slogan “Achieving a New Balance in the Global Economic Arena”.
The central event of the forum is scheduled for June 2. It will be a plenary session with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Business events have already started the day before. On the “zero” day of the forum, the Interregional Forum “Women Entrepreneurship Challenges and Solutions in Europe and the Arab region” was held, as well as the Conference “Woman Leader”.
Within the framework of the II Interregional Forum “Strengthening International SME Alliances between the Russian Federation and the Latin America and the Caribbean countries (LAC)” an interesting discussion on the prospects of interregional cooperation took place between the delegates from Russia and Latin America.
The forum will last until June 3.
